Your institutional membership sends a message that you support LGBTQ+ leaders, faculty, staff, and students.
LGBTQ Leaders in Higher Education is the only national organization dedicated to developing LGBTQ leadership and advocacy in higher education. Institutional Membership strengthens leadership capacity, supports retention, and advances inclusive excellence—delivering professional development benefits across the institution. Your membership also sends a message that you support LGBTQ+ faculty, staff, and students.

2026 Institutional Membership
BENEFITS: Institutional members are notified of programs of LGBTQ Leaders in Higher Education and receive other news of the organization. All employees of member institutions are eligible to participate in members-only programs (such as fellowships) and to enroll in free or discounted programs. Members may advertise on the Leaders media outlets, and access members-only content, a private discord server, and other benefits. Not sure? Any institution of higher education, unit within an institution, or higher education related organization may become a member of LGBTQ Leaders in Higher Education. Membership dues are set annually by the Board.

| Medium Two Year Institution (1,000-4,999) | $1,250 per year |
| Large Two Year Institution (5,000+) | $2,750 per year |

| Medium Four Year Institution (3,000-9,999) | $1,250 per year |
| Large Four Year Institution (10,000-19,999) | $2,750 per year |
| Very Large Four Year Institution (20,000+) | $5,250 per year |

Institutional Members
All employees of member institutions are eligible to participate in members-only programs and to benefit from free or discounted rates on paid programs. Institutional members may designate a number of employees to serve as voting members of the organization. “Designees” are eligible to nominate candidates (including themselves) and vote on slates for open board positions, as well as other issues before the board.
